About the Opportunity

CrossBorder Career Solutions, LLC is seeking qualified international Elementary Teachers for positions at our partner schools across the United States through the J-1 Exchange Visitor Teacher Program.

Successful candidates will provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction that supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development while contributing to cultural exchange within their school communities. Grade levels and teaching assignments will depend on school vacancies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with state standards and school curricula.
• Teach core elementary subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies, depending on the assignment.
• Develop students’ foundational literacy, numeracy, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Use assessments and classroom observations to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Provide differentiated instruction, small-group support, and enrichment activities.
• Support English language learners and implement required student learning accommodations.
• Establish clear classroom routines and positive behavior expectations.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that supports student confidence, independence, and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student progress records.
• Communicate regularly with families, colleagues, and administrators.
• Participate in team planning, professional development, school events, and required cultural exchange activities.
• Follow school policies and applicable J-1 sponsor requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a closely related field appropriate to the teaching assignment.
• At least two (2) years of full-time teaching experience.
• **Must currently be employed as a teacher in your home country at
